Atlas and Aura is a design company comprised of two women with a shared passion for art, culture, and the beauty of the natural world. Our jewelry collection is a celebration of wearable fine art—carefully curated pieces that showcase authentic gemstones and semi-precious stones sourced from regions across the globe. Each piece reflects the traditions, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage of the artisans who create them.
We work directly with craftspeople around the world, selecting jewelry that highlights both the natural brilliance of the stones and the artistry of the hands that shape them. From luminous opals and deep lapis to vibrant turquoise and rare regional stones, every piece carries a story of place, tradition, and human creativity.

Jo Anne’s Story!

“Polio, at the age of four left me without the use of both of my arms. While sitting on the floor, surrounded by mountains of supplies, I use my feet to guide and assist my left hand in creating jewelry. I combine copper, semi-precious stones and many other materials. This rare technique results in stunningly unique designs that are each as unusual as the way they were made! Jewelry should be fun, bring a smile to your face, and result in compliments from complete strangers! It should look as if it were made just for YOU and bring out the true colors of your life!”
